The Journal of Emerging Applied AI (JEAAI) is an international, open-access, peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to showcasing the transformative impact of artificial intelligence (AI) in real-world applications. JEAAI emphasizes the practical implementation of AI technologies rather than purely theoretical advances. The journal does not charge any article processing fees (APC-Free). There are no costs associated with submission, acceptance, publication, or open-access availability. Authors and their affiliated institutions do not need to pay any fees at any stage. JEAAI is committed to lowering barriers to scholarly communication and supporting the global research community, particularly early-career scholars and research teams from under-resourced regions, in disseminating impactful applied AI research.
Aims and Scope
JEAAI focuses on applied artificial intelligence research and development that leads to tangible societal and industrial impact. JEAAI also encourages research that explores the ethical, legal, and social implications of AI adoption, including transparency, accountability, and human-AI interaction.
Review and Publication Policy
The journal adopts a rigorous double-blind peer review process. Upon submission, manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening within 5 days. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will proceed to peer review, with first-round review comments typically provided within 4 weeks, and a final acceptance decision reached within an average of 10 weeks, depending on the revision and review cycles.
Authors are required to submit their revised manuscript and response to reviewers within 30 days after receiving the first-round review comments. If additional time is needed, an extension request should be submitted in advance. Failure to respond within the specified timeframe will be regarded as voluntary withdrawal, and the editorial office will terminate the review process.
Once a manuscript is formally accepted, it will be published online within 14 days and subsequently scheduled for inclusion in an upcoming journal issue.
